We Kill The World

Take me back to when the world was more green

When you looked around and everywhere was clean

Take me back to when we could rely on the earth

To satisfy our hunger and quench our thirst

Take my back to when the air was fresh and clear

Without black soot from automobiles and industries

Take me back to when I could dance in the rain

Knowing it will do more good than harm

Take me back to when the only hills we knew

Were natural and not man-made from heaps of trash

We blame the big factories forgetting that we too take part

The earth also is polluted under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, and broken the everlasting covenant.

Rivers run brown and full but not of water

Now a cradle of diseases and pests

Global-warming once unheard of

Is our day to day reality

What have we done to our beautiful planet??

Poaching and killing our wildlife
